Hi all! I’m in the process of collecting recipes that take literally five or ten minutes for those times when you don’t want to spend 30 minutes or more cooking (which for me is almost every day).

So these recipes use a lot of premade ingredients. But feel free to substitute your own home made options (for example, this can be done with fathead crust, homemade pesto, etc).

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Joseph’s Lavash Bread

  • 2 Tbsp pesto

  • 1/4 cup ricotta

  • 1/4 cup mozzarella

  • 1 Aidell’s chicken & apple sausage

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Steps

  1. Use a spoon and spread the pesto

  2. Add mozzarella and ricotta (I like to dollop the ricotta)

  3. Cut up sausage and put it on the pizza (I keep these frozen and defrost first)

  4. Cook in oven (toaster oven works great), I do 375-400 degrees for 4-5 minutes.

  5. Top with red pepper flakes if you want

Net carbs should be around 8-10. Most is from the lavash bread which has five. Watch carbs in the pesto as certain brands have more than others. Even though this is “apple” sausage it only has two carbs for one big link.
